Can You Assist Me in Evicting a Current Tenant?
The short answer : Yes. We work with a series of attorneys throughout the Chicagoland area that provide assistance in offering legal advice or eviction services. You will use the services of our property management to delegate that eviction.
How much will Repairs Cost Me - as a Landlord?
Well, it depends on the age of home, size of home, and (most importantly) the age of the mechanicals within the home. Setup an appointment, today, and we will be happy to evaluate anticipated costs of maintainence.
Can you attend the Crime Free Seminar my Village is requesting me to attend?
Yes! In fact, with homeowners or landlords that have not attended a Crime Free Seminar for specified villages, we can represent you and you will NOT have to attend any 6-8 hour class. HOORAY!
What happens to the Security Deposit?
Due to Illinois State Statute, our real estate brokerage does not hold security deposits, but, will provide a ledger to assist in tracking the deposit. We recommend our clients host the deposit, in a separate checking account with preferential treatment to interest on that account.
Does the Landlord Get Charged a Leasing Fee if the Tenant Renews the Lease?
No! We do not charge a renewal fee. Our goal is to meet your needs and budget with affordable and effective services. Not charge petty fees!
How will Renting My Home be Reflected on my Tax Return?
While our office does not host a CPA, we will be happy to refer you to a qualified real estate experienced CPA. However, there are tax advantages to rental real estate. Exploring the possibilities is something we will happy to point you in the direction of learning.
How Do Tenants Pay Rent via Chicagoland Realty Group Partners?
We provide tenants three means to pay rent each month. Typically, rent is due on the 1st of the month and late after the 5th of the month. Funds are delivered to our landlord the NEXT BUSINESS DAY after our office receives the rental funds from tenant.
